The Mind-Bending Effect of Alcohol

Alcohol can exert nearly satanic power (Gibbons 3). The mind-bending effects of alcohol begin soon after it hits the bloodstream. Within minutes alcohol enters the brain. The nerve cells inside our brain were numbing and slowing their messages to the body. If drinking continues, the nerve centers in the brain governing speech , vision , balance and judgement go haywire. As even more alcohol is ingested , the drinker may lose consciousness allowing the inebriate to do unnecessary things.
